Steve submitted the name "High
Desert Shorts" which was selected
as the official name of the festival.

as the official 2006 Logo for the
High Desert Shorts International Film

Lulu Brymer is pictured with her design
of "Reaching for the Stars" which is the
official award for the HDSIFF in
perpetuity.  Awards Plus of Pahrump,
NV produced the award which has
been dubbed "The LULU."

Short Film,
"VOICES OF NEVADA WOMEN ARTISTS."

Short Film Category for her entry
"THE RAIN" a music video.

Short Film, "THE DISC."   
Canadian, Ian Cook won top honors at
both Best Animated Short Film and
People's Choice award as the audience
favorite for the hilarious
"WES BAY GOES PAHRUMP IN NEVADA."
Chris McInroy won for "A JAR OF
GRASSHOPPERS" in the best Drama
Short Film Catagory.  Chris is at
college in Texas and was unable to
attend.
